The Karga Clan are one of the oldest and strongest of clans in Thalmont. The clan were considered officially the first who colonized in Thalmont, arriving in the region about a century ago. Back in that time the province was ruled by the Dwarves, it was was a very dark era in the short history of Thalmont.
The land was a dangerous and inhospitable place, the land was completely destroyed and the Groms were as powerful as they are today, and Barbarian tribes from the Glacier ventured to the very walls of Tharbakin, which was a Dwarven fortress in those days. The clan proved to be tough but able highlanders. They helped newcomers to settle in and repaired a large part of the ancient Dwarven citadel and turned it to the city of Tharbakin. It is even said that without Clan Karga, Tharbakin wouldn't exist today. King Satrius, King Emrys' father, stood behind the clan, for they provided stability in the region, however, a plot was hatched to force the clan to step down. The royal court agreed that the clan must relinquish their power. Forcing King Emrys to issue an edict in, 340 that obligated the clan to leave the region in the hands of whom would later become their sowrn enemies, Skelden House. The clan moved to the hard northern mountains of Thalmont.
Sustained only by the strength and encouragment of Ultar Karga and his son, Cahal Karga the great leaders of the clan. It is fairly obvious that the clan has a bitter rivalry with Skelden House.
