The Lost Temple is the third and final Adventure Mode quest for the Echoes of the Dark Past DLC for Two Worlds II. A recent earthquake has uncovered an ancient Temple of Aziraal which was long buried by Tenebrae magic during The Purge. With only two known Tenebra Temples, any lost history about the Purge and the Tenebrae Order is extremely beneficial to the Veneficus University.

Dear Friend,

For so many years I have been able to solve my own problems, yet the Tenebrae has me asking for your help over and over in recent weeks. First, I hope one of my previous letters answered any questions you may have had about the Tenebrae.

A Recent shifting in the earth has revealed one of the ancient Aziraal's temples, buried by Tenebrae magic during the Purge. To my knowledge, it was once one of the command centers of the Alliance that eventually destroyed the Order. The ruins are in remarkably good condition and I'm certain that some of the documents regarding the Purge have survived the ravages of time. It is crucial that we find and secure them before anyone else does. Today we know the exact location of only two Tenebrae temples and both were burned to the ground during the Purge. We suspect that the other temples of the Order suffered the same fate but it's possible that some of them remained more or less intact and it's reasonable to assume that the Tenebrae artifacts are as well. If the documents from the time of the Purge contain directions to such places, we must keep them out of the wrong hands.

Get to the ruins and search them for any information regarding the Tenebrae Purge. Be careful; even after all this time the place might still be filled with unpleasant surprises.

And one more thing- Aziraal followers consider the place sacred and will execute any intruders. The University is on rough terms with the Church as it is, so nothing can be linked to this expedition. If you get caught, I'm afraid you'll be on your own.

Conduct the Ritual.
Light the incense, put the Scroll on the Main Altar and use the Amulet.
I have to light the incense in front of the Main Altar, put the Scroll on top of it, then use the Amulet.

Use the High Preist's Amulet.
You can now enter the Archives.

The High Preist's phantasm had a strange key and a letter on him. I wonder what the key opens? Maybe the letter will tell me.
