Zarg was a skilled and powerful Orc warrior of unknown rank that lead the charge of the orc troops against Gandohar's forces at the Battle of Oswaroth. He was killed while mid-combat with Sordahon by magical spikes summoned by Emperor Gandohar.
Zarg and his fellow orc warriors fought mercilessly and effortlessly killed many of Gandohar's troops. When Gandohar's right-hand, Sordahon joined the fray, the battle was proving to be very much in the orcs' favor. Sordahon being an exceptional warrior, felled multiple orcs with each stroke of his weapon and began to turn the tide of battle. This appeared to anger Zarg as he quickly made his presence known to Gandohar's right hand, challenging him. The warriors circled one another, each sizing up their opposition. As they circled each other, Zarg titled his head in a mocking challenging gesture and struck out at Sordahon but the human warrior skillfully evaded the orc's swing. An intense battle ensued between the two. At first, Sordahon appeared to have the upper hand in skill, neither was seemingly able to gain ground against the other. As the battle waged on, however, Sordahon began to lose footing and began making mistakes that Zarg exploited, blocking, evading, parrying, and countering Sordahon's progressively less skillful attacks. At last, Sordahon, frustrated and obviously losing, caved at a taunt issued at him from Zarg and swung his weapon wide and hard but the orc caught Sordahon's mace mid-swing and kicked Sordahon in the chest, doing surprisingly no more harm than causing him to stumble backward. Zarg then followed up with a series of quick but powerful downward hacks on Sordahon's weapon with his axe. Sordahon blocked every strike and lunged at Zarg at the end of his third strike, but Zarg evaded the attack and countered with a knee to the front of Sordahon's helmet, throwing him to the ground and causing him to lose grip on his weapon. It was apparent Sordahon had lost as he scrambled backward in fear of the orc warrior he had just been bested by. Zarg issued a victorious battle cry as he prepared to execute the killing blow that would end the life of Gandohar's right hand. During the execution of the blow that would have surely taken Sordahon's life, however, Gandohar summoned otherworldy spikes from the ground, impaling all the orcs on the battlefield including Zarg, who was impaled through the back, ending the warrior's life and saving Sordahon from being felled by the skilled and powerful orc warrior, Zarg's, battle axe.
