Q: How do film soundtracks differ from game soundtracks?

A: Nowadays the effort involved in producing games and movies is much the same - and this applies to their soundtracks as well. However, there is one major difference in the two types of music production - in an RPG game a single track will be replayed hundreds of times. So it should be composed in such a way that it enhances the atmosphere without being too distracting and /or boringly repetitive. It's a challenging task, especially when you have to try and make the music follow certain themes which are characteristic for specific phases in the game.

Q: In your website, you say that you’re “a passionate gamer”. What are your favorite games?

A: “Gothic 1-3, Arcanum, Divine Divinity, Fallout 1&2, Knights of Honor, Oblivion, World of Warcraft and of course (soon) ‘The Temptation’ ;-))

Working in the game industry is not just a job… it’s a way of life for me - I'm always in love with my projects. I hope ‘Two Worlds: The Temptation’ will become one of the next RPG classics - I'm really looking forward to playing the final version!”
