Once you travel to [[Silver Plate Cave]] and have a long discussion with [[Finch]], you can decide to spare him for a package and the [[Following the Shadow]] quest or kill him. Killing him will prevent you from completing [[Shadows over the Family]]. In either case, you must return to [[Set Kistor]] to let him know the job is done.

You are rewarded a Skill Point after talking with Finch (doesn't matter which dialog option you decide).
