Two Worlds Wiki '''Manual of Style''' should be followed at all times in order to maintain clean, consistent formatting across the site.

==Consistency==
First and foremost, the most important thing by far is consistency. Formatting should be consistent across all pages of a type across the wiki. Editors who're switching from {{Meta|Two Worlds}} to {{Meta|Two Worlds II}} articles shouldn't have to re-learn the formatting standards of the page to contribute.

==Legibility==
The second most important aspect of the Two Worlds Wiki's formatting is making sure articles are legible and professionally organized. Not just for readers, but also for editors. Editors shouldn't have to load up a page and see a wall of text, with headers and images randomly placed. Infoboxes and images shouldn't interfere with headers for example. A space should be placed between each block of text and the next header, image, infobox, etc.

==Citations==
Everything needs to be cited, when and wherever possible. Don't just say "The developers stated in a 2016 Facebook Post" and expect other people to go find it. Cite that link, and archive it if and when possible. If a character in a game exposits some dialogue, then cite is as Game Name, Character Name, Quest Name, Map co-ordinates if possible, and if possible, when.

==Lanuage==
Avoid using accusatory language when addressing false claims by the Developers or Publishers. Yes, they lie, and have done so many times. It's not our place to incite drama, we're only here to document. Second of all, avoid using the word "You" in articles in favor of saying things such as "The Player". Again, we're here to document. We're not having a conversation with readers.

==Article Creation==
All new articles should be first checked across the wiki to make sure they don't exist. Then, they should be created in the Draft namespace, and a redirect created to the draft article to cut down on red links and redirect possible editors to the article. Draft articles should feature their respective Draft Template, such as <nowiki>{{Two Worlds Draft}}</nowiki>. Drafts should not be moved to the Meta, Lore, or Video Game namespaces until they've been looked over by an experienced editor with permission to delete the redirect.

When moving an article out of the Draft namespace, all redirects should be pointed toward the final article name.

==Redirects==
All redirects across the wiki should be categorized, as should all articles. While you can view redirects when viewing all pages for a namespace, it only features a "Hide Redirects" option, and not a "Show Only Redirects" article.

==Categories==
Categorization is mandatory for all pages on the wiki. If you're unsure of which basic categories to apply to a page, consider first checking other pages covering similar pages which can be used as an example or in some cases, directly copied or modified. Categories should be organized in a stacked manner, with maintenance categories placed at the top with a single space in between them so they stand out and it's easier to identify which problems a page may have.
