A merchant is buyer and seller of items that can be found in any village, town or city. They sell you items for gold and they buy items in exchange for gold. There are many different types of merchants. Some are Brotherhood Members, who deal in armour an weapons. Some are from the Merchants Guild, who deal in most items.
