Template:Location Tower of Dalnir is one of the ancient structures on Arveran that originally formed Stone Crown. It still stands in the southern part of Tar-Dalnir ruins. It can be visited in Shattered Embrace DLC.
History
Originally it was a seat of power of Lord Dalnir that ruled his Elven domain in Sharrean Forest from it during the Age of Heroes. It's initial function was guarding the Gate of Dalnir.
Although apparently it survived an ancient siege that destroyed the city, it was abandoned during the Age of Reconstruction, when Dalnir's son Galadir decided to move to Shadinar (to rule from his new tower in the Palace of Hope).
The Tower (or it's remaining part) briefly became inhabited again in late Age of Harmony, when Lord Larlandor stepped down from his office as Achdruid and moved there from Shadinar in order to devote to his studies.
However, the Tower became deserted again soon after, during the Troubles, when it was stormed by the rebels who (supposedly) forced Larlandor to accompany them into Outworld during their escape (which he helped to facilitate).
In-game
Only it's underground vault can be explored, in order to obtain the Seeing Stone of Dalnir.
