Another (of even greater importance to the plot) was what the Elven history recorded as the capture of the [[Tower of Dalnir]] inside [[Sharrean Forest]] by the escaping rebel forces. This allowed them to imprison a former Archdruid [[Larlandor]] and force him to open the [[Gate of Dalnir]] which allowed them to fled the Elven forces by travelling to [[Outworld]] (the event known there as the Great Crossing).
