Vael'nir is the hill chain on Arveran possible to explore in Shattered Embrace DLC.

Geography

The chain lies between the Morrag Peninsula and Sharrean Forest. It's height is what makes it impossible to enter one region from the other directly; one needs to go through Shadinar. It goes along the western border of the Forest, all the way from the capital's city walls to the north, until it reaches the ruins of Tar-Dalnir to the south.

The Old Road once crossed it through the Thunder Pass, but once a landfall blocked it, the road was abandoned.
