You're bound to make the acquaintance of the Giant Scorpion if you happen to wander into the Drak’ar desert. This entity is just as ferocious as its much smaller cousins and is a dangerous threat to travellers in the southern lands. Its most important weapon is its armoured tail - the poison in this thing is deadly! The Giant Scorpion stabs lightning-fast and deeply into its victims with this dagger-like sting... and the only thing that will help you then - if you're lucky - is a really strong healing potion. This monster's dangerous in a frontal attack too! Its powerful pincers have additional claws and can do a lot of damage – damage of the permanent kind...
From Giant scorpions
Just like many of the ordinary insects - wasps, ants or spiders - scorpions also grow to immense sizes aided by natural magic of Antaloor. Giant Scorpions can be found in deserts and attack trespassers nearby. They're not very fast movers, but if they reach their prey their attacks can be devastating. Scorpions can also be summoned via Water Magic spell. Because of their inherently venomous nature, Scorpions themselves cannot be poisoned.
