This can help you escape from enemies at lower level or cross areas of water that would otherwise require a lengthy walk on foot. Investing multiple points into the Swimming Skill will increase the Hero's swimming speed. Wearing certain Heavy Armors can prevent the Hero from swimming, causing him to simply drown.
