Multiplayer is a completely different story compared to single player. It is the time in which the main hero has been inprisoned by Gandohar, this is so that no cheats or glitches can be used to benefit when using your characters on Xbox Live or over the PlayStation Network. The system link has been disabled for the very same reason. Your multiplayer profile is completly different and it will be a different character and a different story so you are effectively starting a different game.

Multiplayer consists of three different game modes such as duel, cooperative story, and village mode. Each one of these game modes uses a different profile character that is seperate from your main offline profile. This is unfortunate; however, it is good because this stops other people from using cheats and glitches to better their character and you certainly wouldn't want this in the duel arena game mode.

Ranked Match

Ranked Matches will take you head to head versus other Xbox Live players in a duel format.

Player Match

Create a Match

This mode allows you to host a game & set parameters as you wish, which include Adventure, Village Mode, and Crystal Capture.

Village Mode

Village mode becomes available when one of your online characters accumulates 10,000 Auras and you select Village from the main menu.

You'll be greeted by your AI assistant and led through the first few steps of creating your village. You'll be required to create a meat market, a shop and a guard shack.

You're given a house from the beginning. Inside your house is a chest where you can drop things to save or share with other characters.

There are many empty lots in your village where you can build various buidlings. Once a building is built you can spend more Auras to upgrade them.

Owning a village involves more than just creating buildings, you will also be required to maintain some level of morale for your villagers. To do this you will be given various types of quests to accomplish. The first quest you get is to clear some zombies out of a nearby underground shrine. This is a random encounter. I had Giant Spiders for the first quest.

Source of Income

Once you have built up certain buildings your village will start to produce Auras for you. You will be paid every 6 in-game hours (6 Minutes in real time). The Auras are available from your Village Charter. You only need to transfer money from your village to your character.

Your village has a limit to how much gold it can store for you so be sure to check in often, withdraw your money, and store it on your character or in your chest.

Blue Crystals

Blue crystals are how you aquire points. If your team aquires all of the blue crystals in a group of crystals you will get bonus points that vary depending on the amount of blue crystals in that group.

Skulls

Skulls make all of the crystals in a qroup disappear.

Green Crystals

Green crystals will change skulls with crystals and crystals with skulls, in a group of crystals
