Ebenezer is one of the side quest givers in Call of the Tenebrae. His struggle with his striking miners (and their union called D.R.U.M.) requires the Hero to make a choice which side to back against the other. Depending on the Hero's choice, Ebenezer is either killed during the battle with the rebelled miners, or prevails. He can also be assassinated later on, as a part of the quest from Caleb. If his life is spared instead, he leaves the island soon afterwards.
Trivia
- Once Ebenezer becomes Caleb's target and is killed (or allowed to escape), his grave (either real or fake) appears on a cemetary in Dorchad (with his unique sword, Vanderbilt's Vindicator, lying on it). From this point on, his secretary Baldrick can be only met standing over his grave, but trading exclusive gear with him is still possible.
