Jarrad is a man who lives in [[Hatmandor]] with his mother. He works for [[Gart Valarin|Commander Valarin]] as his informant. When the hero speaks to him for the first time (as part of Valarin's first quest) he mentions his mother who is gravely ill due to working around verita crystals in the mines.
