Ash Lorus is near the [[Thieve's Cave]] entrance south of [[Covengor]]. He’s after a thief who stole his ring. Offer your help and enter the cave. Slash through the [[Skeleton|Skeletons]] and [[Grand Skeleton|Grand Skeletons]] then talk to [[Tyco Thorn]] (the thief). Tyco will give you the Family Ring and also unlocks the ''Clear out the cave'' sub-quest.
