I've been told there's a smuggler's path that will allow me to avoid passing through the gate completely. I should find it!
I found the trail head to the path that will let me avoid the gate. Wonder where I will come out if I take it...?

On my way to Hatmandor I was stopped by two guards at the city gate, demanding what they called a writ of protection... some document I needed to pass through. With a little wit I found a way to obtain one and now it's no longer a concern.

Walkthrough[edit | edit source]

There are two ways to approach this...

Smuggler's Path[edit | edit source]

  • If you gave Dagwa food, talk to her again and the quest will update. If you declined to give her food when she first talks to you, this option won't be available to you.
  • Alternatively, if you give Flora the Scribe's Inkwell during the Scribe's Inkwell quest, she will give you directions to the smuggler's path.
  • Either way, your quest log will update.
  • Once you go to the red "X" on the map just north of Bayan and behind the graveyard, the quest will update again:
