This kingdom of the Elves rules the entire island of Arveran at the time of the events of Shattered Embrace (with the exception of non-Elven town of Freehaven, which is technically located outside the island's shores). It's capital is Shadinar, and the ruling dynasty is the House of Dalnir, with King Talinor as the current monarch (and the first one, too). It's the major arena of the Hero's adventure on the DLC.

History

The Kingdom is a successor state to ancient Triumvirate of Arveran with multi-racial population comprising of not only Elves, but also Humans and Orcs. However, a bitter end of the original harmony between those three led to the civil war known as the Troubles, which resulted in the Elven dominance - and also, a shift from the original rule of the three Lords to monarchy. It was created around the time when young Dar Pha left the island.

Geography

The Kingdom shares it's territorial borders with the island, so it comprises of the capital, the Morrag Peninsula, Karatree Reach and Sharrean Forest. It doesn't include Freehaven.
