Lord Gromsh was an ancient Orcish warlord from Alsorna and one of the Founders. He's mentioned in lore of Shattered Embrace.

Gromsh left his homeland and moved to the island of Arveran through the Gate of Gromsh with a group of his fellow Orcs, settling on the Morrag Peninsula which became his domain as a part of a multi-racial Triumvirate (he was the initial Lord General, as well as a member of the First Triumvirate). He watched over the construction of his Tower, the town of Gromshar around it, as well as two ancient dams on Gramordan River.
After the Tenebrae Invasion, Lord Gromsh led the successful defense of Gromshar against the attacking Tenebrae, but later tried to help his co-ruler Lorren to break the siege of Lorrendar and both were killed in the process. His son Ulzag took over as Lord General and eventually decided to abandon the half-ruined city, supporting the construction of a new, common capital for all three races, Shadinar.
