Gramordan is the second-largest river on Arveran. A tributary of Averian, it crosses the entire Morrag Peninsula region of the island. Both rivers flow out from the southern slopes of Qual'atar Hills, heading south.

The ancient Orcish city named Gromshar was located near Gramordan's source. It's path was subsequently blocked by the Western Dam erected by the town's inhabitants, resulting in a formation of a small lake right outside the city, and emptying of the river old riverbed as a result (possibly to allow extraction of gold or other metals there). The Eastern Dam was built near its confluence with Averian, in order to prevent its waters from flooding the river bed from the other end. The Old Road runs alongside the river.

In-game[edit | edit source]

In Shattered Embrace, Fenrir needs to be chased along the empty Gramordan river bed during Act IV, until he can be finally confronted on the Broken Bridge. He summons various beasts on several points during his escape, forcing the Hero to stop hir persuit in order to fight them. Both dams can be visited, too (having teleports near them named accordingly).
