Once you reach Four Stones Village village, the quest is "solved" and no longer appears in the quest log but A Dwarven Contraption remains in your inventory.
Note: This quest has no reward it only leads to the location of the Scar who is resposible for the Giriza problems. The Dwarven Contraption is supposed to be sold to Keshi Lono during the quest Shadows over the Family.
