The Invasion was the turning point in the history of Arveran, when the island was invaded by the Tenebrae. Although the dark nonks were repelled, they managed to destroy the capitals of three races: Gromshar, Lorrendar and Tar-Dalnir, as well as to kill the members of the First Triumvirate (i.e. Archmage Lorren, Archdruid Dalnir and General Gromsh). The Invasion marked the end of the Age of Heroes, and the Age of Reconstruction followed.
