Tower of Lorren was one of the ancient structures on [[Arveran]] that originally formed the [[Stone Crown]]. Template:Location Tower of Lorren was one of the ancient structures on Arveran that originally formed the Stone Crown. Once located on the eastern edge of Karatree Reach area, it was toppled down and the city of Lorrendar around it sunk into the sea, it's basis is still visible above the water of Cloudy Bay. Later, Freehaven was built atop of its ruins (with Laginu's outdoor office being located directly on it). It can be visited in Shattered Embrace DLC.

History

Originally it was a seat of power of Lord Lorren that ruled his Human domain on Karatree Reach from it during the Age of Heroes. It's initial function was to guide the Gate of Lorren.

It was destroyed by the Tenebrae during their attack on the city, but it's basis survived (and in time formed a key part of Freehaven's skyline). However, at the brink of the Age of Reconstruction, Lorren's son Baramir decided to abandon it and move to Shadinar (to rule from his new tower in the Palace of Hope).

In-game

The underground vault of the Tower is still connected to partially drowned corridors of the Sunken City, but the entrance to it was sealed by Maleno (Freehaven's original mayor). It can only be entered on Laginu's permission.
