Tenebrae is the ancient order of dark priests that was destroyed by the four religions after numerous attempts to overthrow them. The legacy of the Order is a part of the plot of Call of the Tenebrae DLC to Two Worlds II. The Hero automatically joins the faction at the beginning of the DLC, gaining reputation as the main quest progresses, although it's presence is only symbolic.

Characteristics

The Tenebrae had highly centrilzed model of hierarchy, devided into numerous temples (among them, the Sixth Temple on Tebris). Individuality was supressed. Tenebrae monks referred to each other using only numbers.

Legacy

After the destruction of Tenebrae, certain relics remained. On the island of Tebris, the ruins of the Sixth Temple became home to the rat-like race created by the Tenebrae for the mysterious purpose, initially led by Adramelech and Orias.
