It was slated for a summer 2001 release, but most of the links on the official webpages disappeared around March/April 2001. It didn't resurface again until December 2005 with Reality Pump in Charge of development. The original logo was kept, although modified slightly. The only other thing that seems to have been kept from the original game is the name Template:TwoWorlds2000, which is extremely similar to the name of the city of Qudinar.

Gameplay

Two Worlds was supposed to combine all the depth of role-playing games with all the action and strategy of real-time strategy games. Central to the game was said to be an innovative, well-written storyline, plausible characters the player can identify with, and challenging gameplay packed with adventure and combat.

Two Worlds was being built in the Wireframe Engine, a new technology for creating RPG games. Featuring state of art visualization technology, atmospheric effects, stunning character animation Wireframe Engine was said to introduce powerful tools, a flexible scripting system, and advanced AI capabilities.

Cancelation

It's unknown exactly when the game was canceled. The archived links on the official URLs vanish around March and April 2001, while the other sites, such as the Topware site and the Russian localization seemed to have vanished by September.
