Two Worlds II is the sequel to the 2007 release entitled 'Two Worlds'. It was originally planned as an expansion to the original game, entitled Two Worlds: The Temptation' but was cancelled due to outdated software, and so was replaced with Two Worlds II.
It continues off from the events of first game in the series (suggesting the bad ending, in which you join Gandohar). Beginning in Gandohar's castle, the Hero and his sister Kyra are kept hostage... until three orc's save him.
As the story progresses, the Hero discoveres a vast amount about Gandohar's past, uncovering the truth and learning about Gandohar's youth as a scholar at the Old Ashos University.
