Maliel is the God of Air in Two Worlds.
It is believed that The Hero worships Maliel.
Two Worlds
In Two Worlds, Maliel Shrines are all over Anataloor. They recover The Hero's health while standing close to the Shrine, and can recover your health completely (unless you're currently poisoned). They are also used as resurrection points for when you die.
If you're low-level, and you're struggling to defeat an enemy, you can lead it to the Maliel Shrine and it'll recover your health as you fight.
Two Worlds 2
In Two Worlds 2, Maliel Shrines recover your health, stamina, magic, and they also increase your magicka by X amount of attribute points for a limited time.
