Lore:Dar Pha

This article is a lore draft..
Articles are created and sometimes moved to the Draft namespace for numerous reasons. "Dar Pha" needs to be either updated to fit the current Manual of Style or lacks relevant information and content. |
Dar Pha is the first character the hero meets in Two Worlds II. This mysterious and extremely attractive half-Orc assassin really knows how to surprise her opponents, pouncing from the shadows to deliver her deadly attack.
Dar Pha had a very hard childhood - and it still affects her life today. Although we can’t reveal too much about her past life right now, let’s just say that everything that's happened to this bewitching warrior lady in the past would make ideal material for one of the best adventure novels you’ve ever read!
When the team around her eventually split up, Dar Pha went in search of her past and this led her to Rogdor. She then travelled through Antaloor with a small band of Orcs – and entered the employment of the Prophet Cassara as an assassin. Dar Pha hasn't had it too easy in her private life - a terrible stroke of fate forced her to conceal her face with a veil... (once said hero may be able to change that, but the mask never comes off... at least in single player campaign of the vanilla game).
Call of the Tenebrae
Trying to prevent Dar Pha's death on Tebris (that the Hero watches in the introduction, but which can be reverted thanks to time travel) is the main purpose of the Hero in Call of the Tenebrae expansion. Dar Pha is kidnapped by Adramelech due to her real origin (during the initial duel he calls her 'a mongrel', referring to the fact she's no pure-blooded Orc). The latter is confirmed at the end of the DLC, when Dar Pha shows her face without the veil to the Hero for the first time. She confirms that her parentage is different from the one the Hero thought he knew (by calling the hidden mark on her cheek 'an Elven mark of shame').
