Catacombs is the first of five Defense Mode quests for the Defense DLC for Two Worlds II. The player(s) are tasked with defending Emperor Gandohar from the attacking monsters. There are 10 total waves of monsters, Gandohar's HP will be restored slightly between waves. Which searching the cursed ruins in the desert, monsters began to attack Gandohar.

Chapter IV -- Catacombs

Catacombs

As Gandohar dispatched the temple's guardians at the surface, Sordahon?s expedition into the catacombs under the temple was proving fruitful, having successfully located the first of Maliel?s Thrones. The mission however is far from over ? by desecrating the temple catacombs Sordahon has awoken the true guardians of the Maliel's Throne sleeping under the sands. Defend Sordahon and the treasure from the monster's attacks so the necropolis won?t become his final resting place.

Defend your Emperor!

Gandohar's expedition into the temple catacombs proved fruitful; the first of Maliel's Thrones has been located. However, by desecrating the sacred underbelly of the temple, Gandohar and his men have awoken the true guardians sleeping under the sands. Defend Emperor Gandohar and the treasure so this does not become their final resting place, too!
