Jarrad is a man who lives in Hatmandor with his mother. He works for Commander Valarin as his informant. When the hero speaks to him for the first time (as part of Valarin's first quest) he mentions his mother who is gravely ill due to working around verita crystals in the mines. Basel later asks you to kill him. You can either act upon this, or take a certain someone's advice and let him and his mother go.
