The Desert is an area in eastern Antaloor. It is arid in appearance, with numerous ruins and isolated palm trees.
Locations[edit | edit source]
The Desert can be reached by following the road south from Cathalon and then east once you cross the river.
Notable Inhabitants[edit | edit source]
The region has a single village, with two quest-giving NPC's. To the northwest of the village is the hut of the dragon-whisperer.
The region is inhabited by Scorpions, as well as a race of jackal-headed people who take the place of northern Antaloor's Groms or the south's Orcs.
In the south of the Desert, at the mouth of a mountain pass, can be found one of the game's few Sand Dragons, who can be easily killed by a high level player for its corresponding achievement.
Quests[edit | edit source]
- Kill the jackal-headed people, giving by the settlement's mayor
- Investigate the water polution, given by a concerned female visitor
- Investigate the nest of the white dragon, given by the dragon-whisperer. On some occasions, completion of this quest will yield the player with the Destroyed the Great Pentagram achievement (confirmed Xbow 360).
