Two Worlds II: Defense is the first multiplayer mode DLC in Two Worlds II, and the second DLC overall. The player is tasked with defending Emperor Gandohar or General Sordahon from waves of enemies. It's reminiscent of Two Worlds II - Castle Defense, though with the more action-focused gameplay of Two Worlds II.

Set in the year 345 after Gandohar tricks "The Hero" into allowing him to imprison Aziraal in his sister Kira's body. The Great Battle of Oswaroth is taking place and the Orc general Rogdor leads a strike force against the throne room of Oswaroth. Once the assault has been defeated, Gandohar orders General Sordahon to eliminate every last Orc reinforcement in the Forest Camp. Once the war is over and Gandohar is victorious, he seeks out Maliel's Thrones. In order for Kira's body to sustain Aziraal, Gandohar needs to track down Maliel's Thrones, which he can use to transfer the life force of "The Hero" into Kira. The first throne is discovered in a temple in the Dra'kar Desert. The second throne is discovered in a cemetery on Eikronas.[1]

The great battle of Oswaroth reaches its apogee. Hordes of Orcs they DART relentlessly represent the army of the Emperor, who personally Gandohar's oversees the battle from a safe in the throne room of Oswaroth. He does not know, however, that his life is at risk. Elite branch of the Orcs, led by the legendary General Rogdora, slip through a gap in the defense of Gandohar's and is now one step away from the throne room. Gather your troops and weapons of the Emperor!

In "Two Worlds II Castle Defense" antagonists of the series are playable characters of Two Worlds, which can lead to victories on the beaten Antaloor lands.
