Greston, who lives in the Stico Caves, asked you for a favor. He wants you to go to his mother Faoda, who is in Covelly Village, and tell her he is very sorry. He will give you the compass that goes with Find My Compass quest.
Once you get to Covelly find Faoda to give the message that Greston has asked you to forward to her. Faoda will tell you why Greston's living in the Stico Caves. He wanted to go to the village fair but his family was too poor to afford it. So one night he ended stealing from someone in the village and got caught that is how he ended living in the Stico Caves.
