The Stone Crown is a collective term for three ancient towers on Arveran that can be visited in the Two Worlds II - Shattered Embrace DLC. Although partially ruined by the time of the Hero's visit, their vaults are intact and can be explored during Laginu's expert assignment in order to collect the Seeing Stones.

History[edit | edit source]

The Towers forming the Stone Crown were built by the Founders at the beginning the Age of Heroes to guard the magical gates of Lorren, Gromsh and Dalnir during the island's colonization. In time, three ancient capitals of Triumvirate of Arveran were built around them. During the Tenebrae Invasion, each structure was damaged (although some more than others), and all three cities became inhabitable. The Founders children that formed the Second Triumvirate decided to abandon them and move to Shadinar instead.

List of Towers[edit | edit source]

The Stone Crown comprised of three Towers:

  • The Tower of Lorren stood at the center of Lorrendar. It was toppled during the magical earthquake caused by the invading Tenebrae which sunk the city, forming the Cloudy Bay in it's place. A Tower's base was used during the construction of Freehaven atop of the ruins. It's vault survived the cataclysm, but Maleno sealed it, so it can only be entered after recieving a special key from Laginu.
  • The Tower of Gromsh still stands in Gromshar ruins. It can be explored as early as right after Orias convinces the majority of Fenrir's warriors to stop hostilities.
  • The Tower of Dalnir is located in Tar-Dalnir ruins. It can be visited as early as prior to the journey to Outworld.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Although similar in appearance, the Teacher's Tower (originally named Tower of Teramon) in Outworld is not considered a part of the Stone Crown. Not only because it's located outside Arveran (i.e. on the edge of Teramon's Refuge, although its construction predated the one of the town itself), but mainly due to it's age. According to a book found in it, Teramon built it during his lonely interdimensional excursions, some time prior to the Troubles, which means the reign of the Last Triumvirate (i.e. the final years of the Age of Harmony), while the rest of the Stone Crown was completed ages before that (in the Age of Heroes).
