Iocus Munduo is an odd fellow located inside Under the Influence tavern in Hatmandor (in the main room, on the right balcony after entering the tavern). He seems to be eccentric, as he speaks in a very strange medieval dialect and says things that make almost no sense. The Hero responds by acting confused and mocking him, stating he is not right in the head.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- His overly thick medieval dialect is most likely a reference to the first Two Worlds game. Almost all of the characters and the hero himself spoke similarly, although it was much lighter. It was often mocked by both reviewers and players alike. To many, it seemed that the voice actors had overdone the dialect to the point of sounding ridiculous.
- In the German version, the hero speaks to the player and says:
- Hey, Leute... Ich glaub' ich hab' von dem Kerl gehört. Soll irgendeine Anspielung auf die englische Version sein. (Hey guys... I think I've heard of that guy. It's supposed to be some reference to the English version.)
