Kaineth is a professor of Veneficus University in New Ashos addicted to gambling. Although distrastful and shunned by many collegues and students alike, he knows Gandohar from the past (the two were collegues during their youth - he tells the Hero about the black artifact that Gandohar brought from Elkronas, and directs him to the swamp).
