General[edit | edit source]

Q: How much blood and gore will be in the game?

A: I can't give you the number of litres, but there will blood during fighting of course.


Q: Can you be evil and and raid cities by yourself when you get powerful?

A: Sure, if you are strong enough. The inhabitants of a city will all fight against you if you harm some of them and it is getting public.

Q: Will there be battles with a bunch of people fighting at once?

A: Yes.


Q: In a movie (German magazine PC Games 09/2006) we saw clearly the LOD-Edges. Will this be fixed?

A: It will be fixed.


Q: How much effort are you investing in varied level design and graphical diversity?

A: Very much. The freedom of the world in combination with totally different landmarks and graphic variety were one of our most important aims.


Q: In the German magazine PC Games (09/2006) there was a movie where a mage cast spells, there were a strange sound (reminds me of Nintendo's Mario) and jumping icons on the screen (maybe there were hearts?). Will such sound be changed and made more mature? Will you change that brummagem icons?

A: The finished game will present much more impressive sounds and graphics.


Q: Can we switch from the 3rd-Person-View to the ISO-View?

A: No.

Q: Will magi have different styles of robes to wear?

A: Yes.


Q: Will the characters be able to wear capes?

A: Yes.


Q: Will enchantments be visible on clothing and weapons?

A: Yes.


Q: Can you customize your own weapons and armor?

A: That is not possible. But on the other hand, you will have around 54 different models for every weapon category. Also, weapons will change their appearence by applying magic to them.


Q: How many weapon/armor styles and types will there be? Will you be able to craft them like in Runescape?

A: We will publish a list shortly.


Q: Are there more weapons and armor choices than in Oblivion?

A: Yes.


Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Q: Is there a level limit for the char?

A: No.


Q: How many guilds are there?

A: Four.


Q: Do you need food to survive?

A: No.


Q: Will there be level scaling in two worlds?

A: No.


Q: Will there be alchemy like you collecting ingredients etc.?

A: Yes.


Q: Will there be goods trading, IE:you take a cart of stuff to another town to make a profit etc.?

A: You can sell your stuff wherever you want. The prices vary from town to town. So if you are clever, you can earn some money.


Q: Will there be rumors about my char. scattered?

A: Yes.


Q: Is fighting always real time or does it go turn based (like magic: the gathering)?

A: Battle will be done in Real Time.


Q: Can you also play as a women?

A: Yes, but only in the multi player version.


Q: Will there be traps that the user can break in, like breaking paving tiles, guillotines?

A: Two Worlds has various traps. But they are all kinds of weapons on the ground activated by moving near it.


Singleplayer[edit | edit source]

Q: How long will the main quest take? Once I've finished it, what will I have to do other than multi player if I'm not into dungeon looting?

A: Gaming is nearly unlimited after finishing the main quest. We have implemented a bunch of side quests and hundreds of creatures.


Q: How many hours of gameplay are there?

A: See before.


Q: I heard there are over 200 endings, is this true?

A: No.


Q: Will there be bosses or just harder guys like oblivion?

A: There will be some bosses.


Q: Can you have allies and raiding parties on single player?

A: You are exploring the world on your own, but you can meet people who will support you of course. It depends on your behavior towards them.


Online[edit | edit source]

Q: In the Multi player will we be able to split screen (off line) & or (online) or will you have to buy 2 computers//X-box 360's and two games, (and pay for x-box live twice over)?

A: There will be no split screen.


Q: When you make a single player character to enjoy the full story line, will you be able to log onto multi player maps with that character?

A: No. This would not be fair.

Q: Can you please post a detailed picture of the World?

A: You will have to wait a little bit more...


Q: How many Dungeons will there be? Maybe you can tell us an approximate count?

A: About 50.


Q: Do the dungeons have many quests? Not only quests by using switches, also quests that require much more savvy?

A: There will be a rich variety of quests for every kind of player.


Publisher-Related[edit | edit source]

Q: Will there be any movement/game play/motion capture footage (like was shown at GC this year) released before the years end?

A: We expect to publish something at the end of the year.


Q: On the official site, when will all the pages that say "coming soon" be updated?

A: We are going to make an update in December.


Q: What are some of the improvements you are making when the game was delayed?

A: Nature variety, NPC Interaction, Items.


Q: After the game comes out are you going to keep adding content like Oblivion?

A: We want to create a strong brand. So we are going to maximize the universe constantly.


Q: Will there be a possibility to create plug-ins similar to Oblivion?

A: It is not decided yet.


Q: Will the SDK be available to the public?

A: It is not decided yet.


Q: Can you say something about the release date?

A: Yes, it will be 7th March 2007 (PC, Xbox).
