- April 17, 2017 / April 21, 2017 - The RPG Phenomenon is back, with Two Worlds II - Call of the Tenebrae!

- The news update features a statement from Alexandra Constandache, the CEO of TopWare Interactive.

- April 21, 2017 - Call of the Tenebrae!
- "Two Worlds II: Call of the Tenebrae is coming to PC, Mac and Linux on May 25, bringing over ten hours of new adventure and a major game engine upgrade to 2011's redemptive RPG sequel. The standalone expansion was originally planned for 2016, but the developers got a bit carried away."[5][6][7]

- TopWare Interactive announces the release of the Two Worlds, Two Worlds II and Two Worlds II: Pirates of the Flying Fortress Soundtracks, as well as the release of the Digital Deluxe Content Pack.[4]
- May 15, 2017 - Two Worlds II - Short Stories From Antaloor
- The four short stories in the Two Worlds II - Short Stories From Antaloor collection are now available in English as a PDF, as well as in German as part of the Two Worlds II - Digital Deluxe Content on Steam.[8]
- May 23, 2017 - Call of the Tenebrae
- TopWare Interactive have shared that Two Worls II - Call of the Tenebrae has received a new release date. It will be available on June 15, 2017.[9]
- They stated in a comment that the DLC is to be released on Xbox 360, PC, and PS3.
- May 24, 2017 - Two Worlds 2: Call of the Tenebrae

- TopWare Interactive has uploaded the gameplay launch trailer for Call of the Tenebrae.[15]

- "OPTIMIZED GAMER" on YouTube has shared the first 20 minutes of gameplay for Two Worlds II - Call of the Tenebrae.[17]
- June 16, 2017 - Two Worlds II
- TopWare Interactive have added microtransaction DLC to Two Worlds II PC. They've also disabled console commands for anything that can be viewed as "cheats", which essentially amounts to things they're selling.[18] Reddit user "hepostaldud3" supposedly spoke to "Raidor" "dev to dev", and he's stated that they're going to be adding the console commands back.[19][20][21]

- TopWare Interactive have released a video titled 'Two Worlds II - Call of The Tenebrae - Tasty Video - Mystery Potion' on YouTube.[22]
- June 19, 2017 - Two Worlds II
- TopWare Interactive addresses the issues regarding the Two Worlds II micro transaction DLC.[23][24] The 2.0 update was reportedly to bring over some features from the Xbox 360 release that the Steam version was lacking on launch, such as Achievements. After the blowback, the console commands have been re-enabled for single-player.[25]

- December 28, 2017 - Echoes of the Dark Past
- The soundtrack from the Two Worlds II - MP DLC Echoes of the Dark Past is now available in the Steam store for 3.99 USD$ - Two Worlds II Season Pass holders will receive it automatically.[30]
