The Hero is the main protaginist of Two Worlds. His story kicks off when his sister, after having been wounded disappears under mysterious circumstances. The Hero, a mercenary, searches to the furthest reaches of Antaloor for her, but doesn't recieve any clue about her whereabouts until many months later. The Hero recieves a letter, telling him to go into the mountainous, northern province of Thalmont. Luckily, he has also heard of a job in the village of Komorin, which is on his route, so he sets off on his route again...
The Hero is a nameless mercenary, a profession not many in Antaloor would willingly choose. Most mercenaries operate as part of a band or company, such as The Brotherhood, though he prefers to work alone. He debuted in Two Worlds in 2007.

The village elder of Komorin asks the Hero to investigate the disappearance of a number of villagers into Throglin's Temple. The Hero goes into the temple, and finds two young Groms. He dispatches them, and walks outside, collecting his Gold from Tago. Tago tells the Hero that a band of warriors were asking for him down at the village, and that one of them had stayed behind to meet him.
Biography
Physical appearance
Our Hero travels back down to Komorin, and meets Gandohar, a heavily-clad warrior that tells him to meet his Master at Goat's Cave, to the east. The Hero travels there, and meets Reist Tungard, Gandohar's master. The Hero initially refuses Reist's requests, but Reist tells him to speak with Gandohar when he has come to his senses. The Hero goes off and trains for some time, and eventually, talks to Gandohar.
Personality
He's extremely secretive about his past, revealing very little, even to close friends. He never tells anyone his name; When investing in a business in Hatmandor, he states that he prefers to be a silent partner.Citation needed He's done everything from poisoning the well of a village while working with Necromancers to agreeing to kill his client when his assassination target offers him a higher bounty.Citation needed His most heinous crime is likely sacrificing his own twin sister's life and body to the evil tyrant Gandohar, for a share of his power.Citation needed

Gandohar tells the Hero about how he cares for Kira, and how he owes her something. Gandohar tells the Hero to go to the nearby Thalmont Node, so that he can connect with his sister's mind. The Hero goes there and converses with Kira, and she asks him to go to a second Node, just south of the Earth Claw Tower. The Hero talks to Gandohar, who tells him to meet with Reist in Goat Cave. Resit asks the Hero to complete the ritual to unlock Aziraal's tomb. The Hero says that he will do so under one condition. The ritual must take place in Qudinar, as the Hero plans to destroy the Relic in the dwarven furnace there.
The Hero is quite possibly the most naive and gullible person in all of Antaloor. When he finds his sister after months of searching, he's fooled by Gandohar, into thinking he's only a messenger and servant of a dark brotherhood. When Gandohar reveals the truth at Quidinar and flees, he chases him to Oswaroh. Gandohar again offers the hand of friendship, which he accepts; only to be tricked again.Citation needed

Our Hero travels to the second Node, and connects with his sister's mind once again and she tells him to go to the Southern Node, so that they can connect a third time. But, before he does this he decides to find the Relic Frame, and talk to Ho, whom Gandohar said has more knowledge of the Relic. The Hero sets off for the Karga Clan camp, up in Thalmont's north-western mountains.
After 5 years of being beaten and tortured in Emperor Gandohar's dungeons, he had revenge on his mind. When he makes his way back to Castle Vahkmaar, a platoon of soldiers is there to meet him; claiming the Emperor means him no ill will. They drop their weapons as a show of good faith and yet again, he believes Emperor Gandohar. Luckily for him,  Gandohar was telling the truth the third time around; though it's likely only because he was too weak to put up a fight.Citation needed

The gatekeeper lets the Hero into the camp, due to some small reputation with the Clan Karga, but before he can meet with Ultar Karga he must gain the trust of the Clan first. So the Hero completes a number of quests in the Camp, doing things such as supplying the camp with Health Potions, killing a traitor to the camp (Who ends up already being dead) and collecting evidence of House Skelden's corruption.
History
Early Life
Little is known about "The Heroes" early life. According to one of his diaries, his family often told stories of a Relic in their possession. He never believed them, due to being as poor as 'church mice'. He was always extremely close with his sister Kyra and while they were kids, he was able to communicate with her from a distance, using Nodes.

When the Hero feels that the Clan members trust him enough, he can try to talk to Ultar Karga. He approaches Ultar's house, but the guard turns him away, telling him to talk to Cahal Karga, Ultar's son, if he wants to talk to their leader. The Hero speaks with Cahal, who grants him access to Ultar's quarters. What Ultar wants is for the Hero to find evidence of the Skelden's corruption. This can be done by breaking into Sano Moon's house at the Excavations, and stealing the item labelled counterfeit.
He reveals very little about where he's from, but he states that nobody pays where he's from unless forced to.

But, when the Hero exits the house, Cahal approaches him. Cahal asks the Hero to kill Ebrat Skelden, stating that it is a matter of Clan honour. The Hero agrees to do so, but only in exchange for a large sum of Gold. The Hero sets off for the Excavations, and thanks to a small amount of reputation with House Skelden is able to enter the Excavations. The Hero does a number of Quests for them, like exterminating a pack of Wolves, stealing the Grom Totem Poles, and getting a package back from the Karga Clan.
Two Worlds
The Hero is the unnamed protagonist of Two Worlds. He's first seen in the opening cutscene to the game, riding in a storm, on horseback with his sister Kyra, avoiding Gandohar. When he discovers his sister Kyra is wounded, he searches an abandoned home in Thalmont for a place of rest, only to discover Kyra was captured by a pursuing Gandohar. After months of searching, he's given a Mysterious Letter. While resting in Komorin Village, he speaks to the Village Elder who sends him to the Ancient Temple of Throglin to clear out some Groms that have killed some villagers.

Once the Hero has done enough, he confronts Ebrat Skelden. Skelden tells the Hero to choose between the two factions, and the Hero, having chose the Karga Clan, murders Ebrat. The Hero then rushes over to Sano Moon's house, collects the evidence of their corruption, and uickly returns to the Karga Camp. hen the Hero arrives back, he is greeted as a Hero. Ultar tells him that he can choose something from the Treasury, and Cahal gives the Hero the Gold promised to him.
Throughout the game, The Hero finds himself earning the trust of various clans, tribes, and even an Orc to find out information on his sister's whereabouts. Along the way, The Hero uncovers the truth about his family's past and must find the Four Elemenents of his ancestor's key, which unlocks the tomb of Aziraal. Betrayed by Gandohar at the ritual to unlock Aziraal's tomb, he then travels to the nearby Black Towers and kills Gandohar's best men. Eventually, he travels to Oswaroth and fights Reist Tungard.

By doing this, the Hero has acquired the Relic Frame.
The Hero decides to side with Gandohar for power. He's last seen standing alongside Gandohar with his sister Kyra.Citation needed
