Chapter VII: The Marshland is the seventh and final Adventure Mode quest for the base game of Two Worlds II. The Sarcophagus is stuck in the mud of the marsh and is being attacked by Undead. The Emperor's Messenger sends the player off to four Unholy Portals to destroy them and stop the undead horde.

- It was no easy task, but you finally found the Sarcophagus and now you are in the process of delivering it to the Emperor to claim your reward. While transporting it through the marshlands, though, the cart carrying the Sarcophagus got stuck in deep mud. An accident or an ambush? Whatever happens, remember: the Sarcophagus must be protected at all costs!
Emperor's Messenger: It's useless. Won't budge an inch. We can't lift it alone... I'll have to go and get help. Stay here and stand watch. Don't let anyone touch it, clear?
