Chapter IV: Well Crystals is the fourth of the seven Adventure Mode quests for the base game of Two Worlds II. The player has to track down the four Well Crystals which are used to make the Well of Wisdom work.

Chapter IV: Well Crystals[edit | edit source]

You have reached the village of Vokar and rescued the village elder. Now is the moment of truth. See if the Well of Wisdom will truly show you the location of the Sarcophagus Emperor Gandohar wants... or if its power is truly just a myth.

Village Elder: Rise and shine. A man's only worth is his word, and I've given you mine. The crystals have been scattered to keep them hidden, not far from here. The first is in the ruins of an old temple to the south. You'll find the second in old Dominic's windmill, atop Chandler's Mount, and the third is in Perry the Hermit's possession... probably his hut, I can't imagine where else he'd put it. Sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself... you probably don't know where that is. It's the hut on the islet in Lucid Lake. And finally, the fourth is somewhere in the bowels of the Caverns of Agrippa, but anymore than that I can't tell you because I don't know. The specific location was never revealed to me. Find them, and I'll help you repair the Well. I'll be waiting.

To wake the Well of Wisdom you must obtain the four crystals that power it. They're all scattered in separate locations nearby. Find them and return to the Village Elder.
You've found the first crystal. It has been transported to the Village Elder for safekeeping.
Find the second crystal.
You found one crystal. To wake the Well of Wisdom you need all four. Find the other three.

Village Elder: So, you found a crystal. Very good. Don't forget we need all four to stir the ancient powers of the Well. come back when you've got the rest.
The village elder repeats this dialogue until you get all four crystals.

Defeat all enemies to unlock the crystal!
You found the second crystal. It has been transferred to the Village Elder for safekeeping.
Find the third crystal.
You found two of the four crystals. To wake the Well of Wisdom, you need the other two. Keep looking.
You found the third crystal. It has been transferred to the Village Elder for safekeeping.
Find the last crystal.
You found three of the four crystals. You need one more to wake the Well of Wisdom. Keep looking.
Defeat all enemies to unlock the crystal!
The Village Elder has received all crystals.
Speak with him about the Well.
You found all four crystals. You can now wake the Well of Wisdom and discover its power. Return to the Village Elder.

Village Elder: Well done! I must confess, I had my doubts. You wouldn't have been the first to die looking for those things. But you certainly proved me wrong. And now you have but one more location to visit... the subterranean labyrinth beneath the Elven temple in the jungle of Ka'rath. May the gods protect you... you'll need it.

You woke the Well of Wisdom.
You found the four crystals and returned them to the Village Elder. He brought the Well of Wisdom to life. The water has the power to reveal anything the observer desires.

  • Orcs make generic grom noises.
  • The NW corner of Lucid Lake has a teleport spot.
  • A second teleport spot can be found on the way to the ruins. When passing through the golem-infested hills.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The online missions for Two Worlds II take place between the events of the intro cutscene and the story of Two Worlds II. The Orcs were thought to be extinct after the Battle of Oswaroth, the random enemy Orcs show this to not be true.
  • The gate to the cemetery crypt is unlocked in Well Crystals while it was previously locked in The Well of Wisdom.
    • The player still can't enter the crypt, they can only go down the steps to the door.
