Chapter VII: The Marshland is the seventh and final Adventure Mode quest for the base game of Two Worlds II. The Sarcophagus is stuck in the mud of the marsh and is being attacked by Undead. The Emperor's Messenger sends the player off to four Unholy Portals to destroy them and stop the undead horde.
Chapter VII: The Marshland[edit | edit source]
- It was no easy task, but you finally found the Sarcophagus and now you are in the process of delivering it to the Emperor to claim your reward. While transporting it through the marshlands, though, the cart carrying the Sarcophagus got stuck in deep mud. An accident or an ambush? Whatever happens, remember: the Sarcophagus must be protected at all costs!
Emperor's Messenger: It's useless. Won't budge an inch. We can't lift it alone... I'll have to go and get help. Stay here and stand watch. Don't let anyone touch it, clear?
- The sarcophagus is stuck in the mud. Protect it at all costs until Gandohar's messenger returns.
Emperor's Messenger: They're coming from the portals! I saw four. Split into two groups... one to stay here and guard the sarcophagus, another to shut down whatever it is that's bringing them here. Otherwise they won't stop coming, and gods be damned if we'll be able to fight our way out. I'll come back for you, you have my word. Good luck.
- Split into two groups. One must protect the sarcophagus; the other must destroy the portals where the undead are coming through.
Success[edit | edit source]
- Congratulations! Portals are destroyed. Sarcophagus is safe. Speak with Gandohar.
Subtitles
Emperor Gandohar: Welcome. I've heard of your deeds. You've done well. Know that I reward those loyal to me. You have proven your worth.

- All portals destroyed. Sarcophagus secure.
Failure[edit | edit source]
